OPPO and Benefit came together to launch the Reno 11 through an experience focused on self-expression, beauty, and technology. Hosted inside a Benefit boutique, the project transformed the space into a playful yet elevated environment where skincare, makeup, and mobile photography naturally coexisted through one immersive journey.
Problem
The challenge was to merge two brands with very different visual universes into one cohesive experience without losing the identity of either. The activation needed to feel organic, aspirational, and interactive while showcasing both the portrait capabilities of the OPPO Reno 11 and the skincare benefits of Benefit’s Pure Pore line.
Concept
“Confidence starts when you understand your best angle.”
The experience was designed around self-discovery through portrait photography. By combining beauty, styling, and mobile technology, guests were invited to explore how lighting, angles, makeup, and personal expression could completely transform the way they see themselves on camera. The OPPO Reno 11 became the tool to help visitors capture better selfies, understand their image, and discover their perfect portrait in a playful and immersive environment.

We designed a full boutique take-over where guests moved through different styling and discovery moments, including color analysis, accessories, makeup touch-ups, and portrait sessions. The OPPO Reno 11 became the central tool of the experience, allowing visitors to explore its camera features in real time while professional photographers guided them through techniques to achieve the perfect portrait. The overall visual language blended glossy beauty aesthetics with a social, fashion-forward atmosphere that felt native to both brands.
